Oakland standing up for what they believe in

Hundreds of people are camping outside of  Oakland's City Hall.  Early Saturday police order to vacate all tents and everybody be to gone. Honestly this is what you call freedom of speech. People standing up for what they believe in and not backing down cause they stand strong on what they believe in. 

Police want to stop it but if not illegal is going on , why are they trying to stop it. To me the police are over doing it. All these people arent out there to harm anyone or anything they are trying to make a statement that stuff needs to change cause clearly the way we are doing now isn't working now for us.

[Current Event:] 11 month missing-girl

11-month-old Missouri girl is missing. she was last seen with her mother the night before her father called the police saying that his daughter was missing. the mother was drunk the night her daughter went missing. i feel this is hella sad. this makes me so mad cause how are you going to have a child but not want the responsibilities. you have to sacrifice stuff when becoming a parent. you cant always drink and if you want to than you need to leave the baby where you know she will be safe. 

Her daughter is missing and maybe dead (knock on wood) and the only thing she can worry bout is going to jail. wtf that right there tells me what type of parent you are. even if someone did kidnap her daughter she still is responsible for it. you let them come into your house and easily take your daughter? i know if anyone tryed kidnapping me or  my little sisters or anyone in my site best believe we it ain't going down without a fight. drunk or not drunk. why are you drunk watching your daughter? anything could happen and she is intoxicated while watching her daughter. i don't know maybe its just me but i wouldn't drink knowing im having to watch my daughter or any little kid that cant take care of themselves. if it was that serious to drink which it never is but to her it was before she started drinking she shouldve made sure her baby was in safe place or drop her off someone where safe so she wouldnt have to worry bout her daughter.

[Free:] Sick As Fuawck

I'm so tired and dont feel good at all. i think i got sick over this weekend. i went to the marina and wasnt really dressed in the right atire. i had short on with a sweater on with some sandals on. it was hella cold over by the water.ugh i felt like shit on monday morning i couldnt sleep all night kept tossing and turning. i couldnt sleep. i kept waking up every hour of the night. not to mention in my room its hella cold even with the heater on. i always sleep with two blankets. and i was still cold. 

so im sick and loosing my due to friday and saturday yelling at the rally and football games. saw my brother play he got off and than sunday my raiders got off i was hella happy but didnt look forward to loosing my voice and and being sick. ): i hate being sick i feel hella ugly and just blah. its hella annoying being sick. you constantly having to take medicine and just not feeling good. and on top of it you loose you appetite.  being sick is defenitly not fun espically since i get tired really easily and i had exams coming up. this couldnt had been a worser time to get sick.

[RE;] Why Do People Smoke?

In response to what Tehani said "Most the athletes don't smoke or do drugs because it makes them slower and messes their body up.All these rappers talk about smoking and selling drugs, do they not know teenagers look up to them?"

 i feel like people who smoke marijuana have there own personal reasons of doing. if anything smoking  marijuana isn't as bad a  crack cocaine , heroine, cigarettes , popping pills , or even drinking.  if you think about doctors wouldn't prescribe medical marijuna if it was that bad. yeah its bad but its bad to certain extent. its bad when people over do it or abuse it.

i smoke and play sports but when i commit to something i stop that bad habit.im committed to what i do so if that means me having to stop smoking for the season thats why ima do. it takes 90 days to start a bad habit and it takes 90 days to stop a bad habit. its harder said then done i know but people choose to do drugs. they know what they are doing when they do it. nobody is forcing them to smoke or do drugs.

teenagers can look up to rappers who smoke but they know right from wrong. teenagers think smoking is cool thats why most of them do it. some of them dont even like it they just doit cause there friends do it. some do  it because thats what they grew up around. i grew up around my dad doing drugs selling them and everything yeah i first i was like i aint finna smoke but when i tryed it i liked how i felt and it took the pain away. there aint no excuse for doing it  but i do and if i can go with smoking but i choose to do it.

Current Event: Berkely Bake Sale

A group of students planned a bake sale at Uc Berkeley the price of baked goods will depend on the gender and race. The prices for the baked sale was $2 for white people, $1.50 for Asian, $1 for Latinos, 75 cents for African-Americans and 25 cents for Native Americans and women of all races get a discount of 25 cents. They had this bake sale because there is a bill currently being considered by Govern Jerry Brown, which would authorize California public universities to consider race, gender, ethnicity, and national geographic origin in the admissions process. 

It shouldn’t matter what your gender, race, ethnicity, and national geographic origin is cause we are all the same no matter what. By him doing this students may feel like because they are a current race they have less of a chance getting into a university. Some people may take this very lightly but its not a joke its reality and people like me who come across racism on a daily base is tried of being desciminated against. Not only African Americans, but Mexicans,and Asians and Native Americans. People are so quick to look at us and judge us by our color and put us in a catergory.Dealing with racism is not fun.People joke about it all day and make fun of people of different race. Until you have experienced racism don't take it lightly or just push it to the side. People kill themselves over being made fun of by their skin color. People like Michael Jackson wasn't happy with his skin color cause people made fun of him and he ended up bleaching his skin. Don't judge a book by its cover.
